Staff shortage leads to CWM closure
Bloggers, well the illegal junta just continues to wreck havoc on the citizens of Fiji. What else will it take for the citizens to rise up against this tyranny? If they are not willing to help themselves, then who else can?
The citizens of Fiji are doomed to a life of misery because its people have become gutless and willing to tolerate bear the hardships of this illegal junta on misguided principles of ‘love thy enemy’ and ‘na vei vosovosoti’.
These principles are to be used when the recipient will accept and honour them, but not to tyrants, who view them weaknesses and a licence to continue with their killing sprees!
People of Fiji, pull your head out from the sand and see what is really happening to you and your land!

A shortage of staff at the Ministry of Health has led to the closure of all outpatient services at the Colonial War Memorial Hospital Pediatrics Units.
Health spokesman Iliesa Tora said as of Monday, August 24 only emergency or special cases will be serviced by the CWM Hospital Pediatric unit staff until further advise.
He said staff shortage is something that the ministry has identified as a major problem, with plans already being implemented on how to better the situation.
“It is a long standing issue and one that needs to be looked at in totality. We should be getting new graduates later this year and they should be able to at least fill some of the vacant positions and also strengthen the establishment.
“Once we have enough manpower at the CWM Hospital we will then be able to provide the service again,” he said.
This action will also allow the ministry to re-identify the core business of the hospital, which is a referral hospital.
“It is the same move we had done with the General Outpatient departments where we had referred patients to health facilities near them so that they can be served there, freeing up CWM Hospital to cater for special and emergency cases.
“That is our core business and we will fully concentrate on that from now on. Parents can take their children to the health centres where they can receive outpatient services,” Tora said.
According to him, we now have three health centres that are opening early and closing late on weekdays and opening during the weekends and public holidays.
They are the Makoi, Raiwaqa and Valelevu Health Centres, which open from 6am to 10pm daily and 8am to 4.30pm on weekends.
“We urge people to make use of those facilities.”
Tora said referring children to health facilities closer to them would mean savings on the part of the families, especially if they have had to travel long distances in the past to get to the Pediatrics Unit.

I can just imagine writing a script for a movie based around Frank and Co.
It would something like, Dumb and Dumber, liar liar or the Twilight Zone.
It would be an absolutely great comedy.

Tui Savu thanks for your contribution bro!. If only a fare few of us think the same way as you i have no doubt that we can bring down this regime!.
You may not have to bring down this Regime !
It seems to be doing a good job of creating it’s own demise, sadly though, it’s taking the rest of Fiji with it !

I would not be surprised if Volavola’s sacking was masterminded by the evil ones in FHL – Qoro & Aziz! And I am just flabbergasted at the way these two individuals have been pampered, given all the bad deals that they have brokered!
When a major shareholders tries to complain about them, he gets to spend days in a cell.
All we see that is unfolding before our eyes is another Uganda or Zimbabwe!
I am just fed up with all these, when will it end! And to cap it off we are seeing the militarisation of the government, no wonder Bayers resigned. He probably felt intimidated as Mason was already lined up for the job!!!
