President’s appointment awaits Cabinet: PM

Remember this article posted by Fijilive last Saturday? The man supposedly responsible for abrogating Fiji’s 1997 Constitution has now retired and to be replaced by Cabinet’s predestined candidate Eveli Nailatikau. What Cabinet is Frank talking about, but a consensus forum of thieves.

This is the same Eveli, the Great Council of Chiefs rejected in 2007, making him a pariah amongst his own peers. It was his rejection, which caused $50 Eveli to dismiss the Great Council of Chiefs because it did not kowtow to the illegal junta.

The children of Fiji’s founding fathers (Ratu Mara, Ratu Ganilau & Ratu Tui) have shown their utter ruthlessness, selfishness and morally unsuited to hold both government and traditional high office.

SWM Management Board wishes to remind both Eveli’s, Koila, Ului & Cokanauto Frank’s guns will not always be around to do your bidding and protect you 24/7. The eyes of the vanua are watching you all the time. Remember the old saying: ‘what goes round, comes round?’ I shudder to think what this will means for you.

One day Mafatu, says SWM!!!

Fiji’s Prime Minister Commodore Voreqe Bainimarama says the appointment of a new President will have to await the decision of Cabinet.

Retiring President Ratu Josefa Iloilo, 88, announced this week he was going on leave from July 30 and would then vacate office.

Bainimarama said a decision on the appointment of a successor was some time away.

“Wait until Cabinet sits,” was all Bainimarama would say when asked by FijiLive whether Vice-President Ratu Epeli Nailatikau would be Fiji’s next President.

“Ratu Epeli Nailatikau will be Vice-President until Cabinet sits and decides,” he reiterated.

In the meantime, Bainimarama’s office is working on a State farewell for Iloilo.

It is unclear how long he will be on leave. A Fiji President is allowed annual leave of four weeks. Iloilo has been President since 2000. He holds the traditional title of Tui Vuda.

What cabinet is Crankie talking about, a cabinet is in session only when it is elected. This is an iligel cabinet it can not apoint a president as the president is appointed by the council of chiefs as per the constitution of 1997.
Don’t make decrees to suit your agenda, thats a dictatorship.

By thw way Hector – he thought we have forgotten? The Cabinet is him – Minister of all and Master of none. Sorry Master of Thieves – Robin Hood must have changed face – from Chodo to the Pig. Well Remeber in his interview on ABC – he was asking who is saying that Fiji is being led by a dictator? His response – who said that (with finger pointing out). He does not even know the official term for his leadership style what can we expect? I am sure the words coming out of his mouth are thought about somewhere else because the grey matter he has does not have anything – zilch!!!

I am dumbfounded by what is going on with this stupidity that is leading the nation by force. Somehow I am at a loss as to why he is still around despite his unpopularity and perceived lack of intelligence – he hasn’t imploded yet like we all thought he would. This therefore gives credence to the theory that there are some very cunning and wily persons propping him up such as the likes of iarse and his band of connivers. It takes some brains to survive this coup for so long. Another of the pig’s no-brainer is his statement referrring to his cabinet convening to appoint a president. All this is of course illegal, interim, post abrogation which has no legit foundation until 2013 when a brand new constitution is supposed to be introduced.

All these are of course lies and misleading statements just to save his blerry sorry ass and prop up all those parasites who are nothing had it not been for this outrageous coup.

There IS no cabinet. There is no President (he resigned, remember?) and there certainly is no legitimate government.
All there is, is a bunch of bullies holding guns and refusing to listen to, or think about, what is best for Fiji. All they are thinking about is what is best for themselves.
    God bless Fiji

So now that he has retired what of his mandate. Seems to me he doesn’t have the soresores to see it through. Or was it really his mandate? If he really had Fiji and its people at heart he would have seen his mandate through before retiring. Guess we all know what he was. A puppet.

Now raises the question. What of the people of Fiji? Bent over with pants down perhaps? Only Time will tell.
